The contactless touch-free wave switch works on the principles of Microwave. The wave sensing range can be adjusted between 1-50cm. It is an efficient way of activating an automatic door system for entry/exit. This helps to avoid any frequent opening/closing of doors due to people walking on the radar sensing range.
